I’m Yihan Peng, and you can call me Henry.

I was born in March 2009 and currently live in Shanghai, China.

I’m an independent artist releasing music as imyihan.

I also have a band project called for the worthy.

Music takes up a large part of my life—from writing and producing to experimenting with sound and technology.

I have played violin for 12 years. In the band for the worthy’s recordings, I also play all the instruments including electric guitar & bass, drums, and synth.

I also run a music club and share some of my resources publicly. You can check out one of them, Music Theory with Henry here.

Outside of music, I’m a pretty serious birder.

I’ve traveled across much of China for birding, and it has become a completely separate but equally important part of my life.
