I came up with the first single, Starlit, after returning from a stargazing trip in Zhejiang, China. (you can see the photo here). After finishing the instrumental, I asked my friend Aaron to record the vocals.
After the first song, I decided to turn the project into a full-length album. Many of the songs were inspired by moments from my birding trips.
For example, Sunrise was inspired by a photograph I took of a Black-winged Kite in Kunming, China. (you can see the photo here)
This album is dedicated to all the long nights and everything in between.
