Original Music by Henry Peng
I mainly use FL Studio for production and REAPER for mixing, while also working with Ableton Live and Logic Pro.
My music is primarily released on NetEase Cloud Music, one of China’s major music streaming platforms. The tracks are organized by genre.

Rosin
Genre: Phonk / Trap EDM
Inspired by a birding trip to Yancheng, China. Standing in the wetlands, I noticed that the bird calls around me seemed to land naturally on the beat of the music playing through my earphones. That moment gave me an idea: what if I brought those bird calls into my own music? That idea eventually became Rosin.

pistachio
Genre: Synthwave
An idea that came to me on a summer night. I started by writing the arpeggios with a synth, then gradually built the track by adding more and more layers. It was also my first time experimenting with the synthwave genre.

EDMs
Genre: Electronic / Phonk
the first ever song I upload onto streaming platforms publicly. Actually this was the first experiment with bird calls into EDM. One month later, I went to my birding trip to Yancheng.
This song is dedicated to someone who is special to me.
Original release date: 2024-12-10
Genre: Experimental / Dubstep Hardcore
This was originally planned as a phonk track. However, things quickly went out of control after I added a funny vocal sample, and the piece gradually turned into an experiment across several electronic genres, including dubstep, hardcore, phonk, and synthwave.
Original release date: 2025-7-26
Genre: chill-hop
2/2 of the two Remix projects I did in 2025 summer. Personally, this one is more “chill” then coffee lol
Original release date: 2025-8-29
Project_6
Genre: Phonk
This was my first track experimenting with the phonk genre. You can hear a lot of ambient textures throughout the piece, which later became something of a signature element of “Henrytic Phonk.”
Original release date: 2025-1-10
Rock
album: the one
Genre: chill-hop
First of the two Remix projects I did in 2025 summer. My first time exploring a new music genre — I mean, I love chill-hop and have listened to it for years, but it was the first time I make it myself.

As introduced in the “for the worthy” section, this album runs 47:08 and contains 9 songs plus one live version, all written by me between 2025 and 2026.

Afterlight began as a vague idea in my head for a 2D puzzle game. The story follows a ghost traveling through different places, gradually recovering fragments of his memory until his entire life is finally revealed.
These pieces are music I wrote for that game, even though the game itself does not exist yet. I am still learning game development, so for now, I think of this project as something halfway between scoring and standalone composition lol. The game is expected to be finished within my first year in college.
Shirkey’s Theme
The theme of the game’s protagonist. Part 1 reflects the earlier stage of her life, while Part 2 reveals her inner conflict and growing tension, leading to the ghost’s final discovery of the truth about her life.
original release date: 2025-11-25
Title
The background music for the game’s title screen.
Inspired by OMORI’s title BGM.

Fragments
The main theme of the game, inspired by the themes of UNDERTALE and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Violin solo, cello, and flute performed by me.
The first three sections correspond to three different stages of Shirkey’s life, while the fourth accompanies the final credits.

A two-minute short horror film shot on campus.
Henry and Nunnie stay after school for band rehearsal, expecting an ordinary Wednesday afternoon. But a wrong-floor elevator, a dark empty hallway, and flickering lights quickly turn the familiar school building into something unsettling. Soon, they realize they may not be alone—and need to get out before whatever is there finds them first.
